GREENE, S. (2017) Pank and revolution: seven interpretations of reality underground (Julio Durán, trad.)
Abstract
Greene proposes a reading of the "subway" reality just as Mariátegui did with the "Peruvian reality" - taking into account its "specific historical conditions" (p. 18) -, but he proposes to give them a twist: now he addresses the problem of the sub-ground and the pituco problem. In the book, he draws attention to the form of the writing, as Victor Vich also mentioned in the prologue, it is a fairly colloquial narrative while remaining rigorous and highly dissonant. That is to say, a punk writing on the edges, but finally in the realm of the academy.
