Recurrencias observadas entre fardos de Wari Kayak y el fardo 298

The analysis of the documents generated between 1927 and 1976 following the unwrapping of funerary contexts from Wari Kayan cemetery allows us to notice recurrences in the complex ritual treatment of the Paracas dead. The study of such details proves to be a source of understanding of their traditions and beliefs—being a society without known writing—which allows us to make interpretations about their society, individual”s roles within their community, the evolution of crafting techniques, and so forth. The information recovered during the early stages of the “Paracas Funerary Bundle 298, Research and Valorization,” from which we were part of, contributes in establishing comparisons with other contexts, aiding in our understanding of such a ritual.
