Anatomy of a fraud: the case of the alleged human humanoid alien mummies of Nazca, Peru

Abstract

Television series, movies and news have built in the collective imagination the humanoid appearance of extraterrestrial beings. From the discovery and analysis of presumed mummies of ancestral aliens in archaeological contexts of Nazca, department of Ica, a brief discussion of the results is presented.
